As it is a major historical event for the country, it’s hardly surprising that Indian restaurants in Dubai are also doing everything they can to make it a special day for their guests. And so, here’s a list of some restaurants that are offering something special for commemorating the Indian Independence Day in Dubai.

MASTI is a vibrant Indian restaurant in Dubai that has decided to do something special for the occasion of Indian Independence Day. Yes, to celebrate this historic event, they have launched a limited edition, Cassata Kulfi Tiranga. This tricolour, cassata kulfi pays culinary tribute to the Indian traditions while also amalgamating Italian Epicurean practises. Available on 15th August, guests will be able to devour this frozen treat for free! So, go ahead and land up here on August 15.

2. Bombay Bungalow

Bombay Bungalow, which is a Michelin guide-recognised restaurant is also doing something special for the folks in Dubai. They are offering an array of dishes that flawlessly blend traditions and modern Indian cuisine till August 15. During this period, you can also try their quirky, Tiranga Kebab, which comprises the trio of Basil Paneer Tikka, Malai Chicken Tikka, and Narangi Mahi Tikka. Priced at just AED59, this tricolour platter is, as you may have guessed, an ode to the Indian flag.

But that’s not all, they are also offering! An enticing Trio Curry, which is a combination of Mattar Paneer, Kafali Murgh, Mutton Stew, and Paratha for just AED79. While you chomp down on these yummy dishes, don’t forget to take in the breathtaking views of the Ain Dubai.

3. Punjab Grill

Punjab Grill, which is a fine-dining, Indian restaurant is also doing something, not just at their Dubai outlet but also at their outlets in Abu Dhabi. From August 11 to 15, you can relish their special tricolour dishes, which include Paneer Roulade, Makhani & Saag available for AED76, although it is originally priced at AED 89. While for meat lovers, they can bite into the Chicken Tikka Sampler, which offers a trio of drool-worthy flavours available at AED76.
