Dubai does it yet again! A survey conducted by CEOWORLD Magazine, has ranked Dubai as the fifth best city in the world for expats. Dubai was ranked first in the Middle East and fifth globally among the best cities for expats to live and work in 2020. Sydney, Amsterdam and Tokyo were some of the other cities that made it to the list.

Findings From The Survey
CEOWORLD Magazine conducted a survey which took into account the opinions of 127,000 people in 186 different cities. The results revealed Dubai as the fifth best city in the world to live in for all expats. The top five cities for expats on the list began with Singapore city, followed by Taipei, Montreal, Lisbon and lastly Dubai.
The survey asked people to rate cities from around the world based on a number of criteria including cost of living, career opportunities, ability to raise a family, quality of healthcare, and community friendliness. And Dubai made the cut.

Meanwhile, another Emirate from the UAE made it to the list too! Abu Dhabi bagged the 13th spot, while Manama in Bahrain was ranked number 29. Muscat was ranked at the 32nd position. Dubai impressively managed to outnumber major global cities such as Sydney, Amsterdam, and Tokyo. The survey was both conducted and delivered by the CEOWORLD magazine.

Whats Else?
A study conducted by crowd-sourced global database company Numbeo, has ranked Dubai and Abu Dhabi among the safest cities in the world for 2020. Abu Dhabi topped the list, while Dubai was ranked on the seventh place. We all love Dubai and Abu Dhabi for how safe they are and now, this news has reaffirmed our belief. Time to party!

Abu Dhabi and Dubai feature at 1st and 7th position, respectively. Abu Dhabi also had a low crime rate index of 11.36 and the highest safety index of 88.67. Meanwhile, Dubai scored a crime rate index of 16.98 and a safety index of 83.02, putting it on the seventh spot.
Sharjah also made it to the list, bagging the fifth spot! Abu Dhabi topped the list, followed by Doha, Qatar, Taipei, Taiwan and Qeubec City, Canada. Here’s the complete list:
