Dubai’s Government is known for always thinking about the people residing in the Emirates. And keeping them in mind, they often roll out policies that are beneficial for them. Now, they have done something special on the occasion of World Teacher’s Day, which was celebrated on October 5. Yes, under the Directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and the Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai has taken an important decision regarding Golden Visa. Yes, they have rolled out a new Golden Visa for exceptional educators for their outstanding performance. Here’s all about it!

Golden Visas Announced For Teachers

The announcement was made on the occasion of World Teacher’s Day by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum. Yes, underlining the pivotal role played by educators in shaping the future of Dubai, a Golden Visa will now be granted to exceptional educators. Additionally, this aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the President of the UAE. He recently established the Emirati Day for Education, which will be celebrated annually on February 28. Not to mention, the initiative reflects deep respect and high regard for teachers in the UAE.

Talking more about the visa, this Golden Visa will be awarded to educators who are in private early childhood centres, schools, and higher education in Dubai. Not to mention, it will recognise those who have played an important role in the academic success of the students. So, this initiative aims to attract talented educators to the emirate. Not to mention, it’s bound to encourage them to contribute towards the bright future of education in the city.

As it happens, this new visa also aligns with the Education 33 Strategy. For those who aren’t aware, this strategy is a pivotal role in meeting Dubai’s Social Agenda 33. Yes, this aims to create an education system capable of meeting the Emirate’s future ambitions.

So, by creating an environment that supports educators, Dubai is certainly aiming to ensure that the education system in the emirate meets global standards.
