Dubai Authorities Have Relaxed The Rules For Social Gatherings
Dubai residents can now host up to 30 guests at home for social events. With holidays around the corner, the rules have been relaxed by the authorities. However, the residents can only host the event if they adhere to the latest precautionary measures. Dubai health authority has issued guidelines for social events. Guests And Social Distancing
In terms of guests, only 30 guests are allowed to attend the event. Hosts have to ensure that space is big enough for the guests to maintain social distancing. For seating, up to five people can be seated on one table.

Event Times and Venue
Organised social events cannot last for more than four hours. The venue should have proper ventilation and should be sanitised at intervals.
Food, gifts, Greetings
Buffet food should be avoided if possible. Guests should try to not receive or give handout party gifts. Both attendees and guests should avoid shaking hands, kissing and hugging – DHA suggests you wave from a distance.

Besides this, take extra care when venturing out and always wear a mask. Sanitise your hands and surfaces after touching them. Dubai is not the only one to update the rules, recently, Ajman too allowed weddings with up to 200 guests while keeping all the conditions in mind.
