Yes, the iconic Clocktower in Dubai now boasts a newly improved look that is certainly going to leave you stumped. Dubai Municipality Unveils Newly Renovated Deira Clock Tower

Dubai Municipality has successfully completed its much-awaited transformation of the iconic clock tower in Deira. Yes, the Clock Tower Roundabout Development Project which cost about AED10 million began in May 2023. With the completion of this project, there is been a remarkable transformation of this landmark in Dubai, thereby breathing new life into the structure. A meticulous attention to detail has been given to the structure during its renovations. Yes, making it all the more aesthetic, the solid flooring now seamlessly blends with the exquisite horticultural elements. According to a report by the Dubai Media Office, it was revealed that the centrepiece of this roundabout is a beautiful water fountain, which features a contemporary look.

What More Is Included In The Renovations?

A proof of Dubai Municipality’s commitment towards preserving the city’s rich history and embracing modernity, Deira Clocktower looks absolutely gorgeous with the new improvements. Coming back to the fountain renovation, it now boasts features that control water levels and also uses multicolour lighting. Not to mention, the central nozzles, which rise intersectionally and reach heights of about 5 m, each of these nozzles has been equipped with RGB lighting, as mentioned by the CEO of the Public Facilities Agency, Bader Anwahi. Moreover, the structural framework of this iconic landmark has also been re-painted and it features some unique elements. Yes, these include precast concrete pebbled wash and three-dimensional design.
