Durga Puja; a 2-word festival that can brighten up any Bengali’s heart and smile at any moment. Being a Bengali, a huge part of my year revolves around planning the 5 most exciting days of the year starting from Shoshti to Dashami and the time to make all my puja plans are coming very soon as we are less than 4 months away from the biggest festival of the year. It has been some time since pandals and idol-making have already begun in different places and today we are sharing about one of Kolkata’s biggest puja pandals; Sree Bhumi Sporting Club. If you have ever experienced pandal-hopping in the city, you surely know about this club.
Sree Bhumi Sporting Club’s 2023 Durga Puja Theme Is “Disneyland”!
Both Durga Puja and Disneyland are two of the most iconic things in their respective ways and we can only imagine the grandeur and charisma of both these things coming together. Preparations to welcome Maa Durga with her children are going on in full swing at Lake Town’s Sree Bhumi Sporting Club. The festivities of Bengali’s biggest celebration have already begun here with the Khuti Pujo ceremony. The glorious theme of Disneyland for this year’s Durga Puja was unveiled on the auspicious occasion of Khuti Pujo.
