Dubai International Airport has been named the World’s Leading Airport at the 30th annual World Travel Awards gala ceremony, which was held in Dubai the previous week. At the 30th annual awards ceremony, DXB ended up solidifying its position as a global leader in the aviation industry once again with this landmark achievement.

DXB Named World’s Leading Airport At World Travel Awards

At the 30th annual World Travel Awards Gala ceremony, which happened in Dubai last week saw the Dubai International Airport being named as the world’s leading airport. As a result, it has solidified its position as a global leader in the aviation industry. Not to mention, the award also reflects its hard work and dedication towards servicing the large crowds of people transitioning from the airport on a daily basis. Additionally, it also shows the dedication of the entire team of the DXB and the exceptional performance of the airport over the past 12 months. This also includes the guest experience, customer service, state-of-the-art facilities, technologies, and overall airport experience, which together allow it to take the leading position.

This Is Not The First Time The Airport Has Gained Recognition

At this point, it is worth mentioning that DXB has welcomed 64.5 million guests in the first nine months of the year while also maintaining service quality and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable guest experience. As a result, it has surpassed its 2019 level of traffic with these record-high numbers. As such, the World Travel Awards is globally recognised as the most prestigious comprehensive and sought-after award programmes. Not to mention, it has also been voted on by travel and tourism professionals worldwide, which landed them in the top spot.

DXB Is Managed By The Dubai Airports

Not to mention, the Dubai International Airport is managed by Dubai Airports, which aims to balance the interests of all stakeholders. They also manage the DWC and help in improving customer experience while maintaining a sustainable business. At this point, it should be mentioned that this isn’t the first time DXB has come on top of such recognitions. Not too long ago, it was named the number one airport for international passenger traffic for the ninth year in a row, as the annual traffic of passengers in 2022 was 66 million.

Emirates Also Shined Bright At The Award Ceremony

At this point, it should also be revealed that Emirates also shined at the awards ceremony. Yes, it was declared the World’s Leading Airline for the Middle East! But that’s not all! The airline also bagged the award for Leading Airline Inflight Entertainment, Leading Airline Brand, Leading First Class, and World’s Leading Rewards Programme: Emirates Skywards. Doesn’t it all sound quite fantastic?
