Eat ‘Em Firecrackers! From Sutli Bomb To Chakri, Try Delish Edible Firecrackers By Chef Kiran Ahir

Creativity and food go hand in hand and if you are creative enough, you might also create what Chef Kiran Ahir bakery did. Chef Kiran Ahir founded The Art Lab, a patisserie and bakery catering to gluten-free, eggless, vegan desserts. This Diwali season, she unleashed her creativity to the max and brought out some of the yummiest-looking edible firecracker desserts. Kiran brainstormed a perfect Diwali hamper which you may gift your dearest ones, this Diwali.

Celebrate The Festival Of Lights With Edible Firecrackers

The Art Lab’s Diwali Hampers are just fabulous this year. Kiran Ahir has made her creativity mingle with taste and the outcome is these delicious-looking desserts. She calls these edible art and we could not agree more. This is the collaboration of creativity, art and food at its best. The Instagram page of The Art Lab shared the thought process behind this Diwali hamper, the tasting and finally the grand execution of it. The hampers are named as Jade Hamper and Marigold Hamper.

The Hampers include exact replicas of the firecrackers you burst during Diwali. Sadly, there won’t be any burning of firecrackers this year as the government has banned firecrackers completely. On the positive side, you have these delicious desserts from The Art Lab. Some of them are named Fuljhadi, Anar Bon Bons, Chakris, Ladi Petit Gateux, Sutli Bomb Petit Gateux, and Chocolate Rockets. They have paid attention to details!

What Is Inside These Stunning Desserts?

Kiran Ahir has tried to bridge the gap between old and modern traditions. This includes gifting options, taste and presentations. The Chakris are cookies, a tribute to the actual charkis, which can be paid with your evening tea. Kiran has inculcated chocolate burfi and sev barfi as flavours for Chakris! This sounds so tempting!

Their Chocolate Rockets are in the flavours of Popcorn Praline and Peanut Praline. Wow, cannot imagine popcorn in a dessert that is not caramel popcorn! The most exciting part of this dessert is the Ladi Petit Gateux. Every bit will burst with flavours inside your mouth, we can vouch for that. It is a delightful dessert with a perfect blend of Raspberry, Kalakand and Cream Cheese Mousse as the main flavours. If you have a sweet tooth, go for Ladi Petit Gateux!

Are You Also Wondering How Fuljhadi is Fuljhadi?

How did they make a Fuljhadi dessert you ask? The dessert is first dipped in melted chocolate until it is set and then to bring out the sparkingly effect, they paint it with silver edible paint. Voila, your Fuljhadi is ready to be consumed! We cannot miss out on the intricately made Sutli Bomb Petit Gateux. It is a treat for the eyes and then for your mouth! It has layers of Chocolate Mousse, Coconut Barfi, Rawa Sponge, Cashews, and Dark chocolate. Hmm, that is quite a mouthful.
