Furthermore, Emirates website read that all passengers travelling with Emirates from specific countries or airports must carry a COVID-19 negative certificate. The certificate must be issued by a local government approved laboratory to be accepted on the flight. Where specified, a certificate from a UAE government designated laboratory in the country of origin is also acceptable. Earlier, travellers coming into Dubai were not required to carry a Covid negative certificate, as tests were to be conducted on arrival. However, from now, all tourists traveling to Dubai or Abu Dhabi from any of the above mentioned destinations must carry a Covid negative certificate. UAE Residents flying into Abu Dhabi must show the certificate at road checkpoints.
