Dubai is a metropolis renowned for its iconic skyscrapers and opulent lifestyle. But this time it is set to become an even more attractive destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The city is gearing up for a remarkable transformation with the announcement of plans to create 55 new parks across Dubai’s landscape.

A Green Oasis Emerges In Dubai With 55 New Parks

This ambitious endeavour is being spearheaded by the Dubai Municipality. It is committed to enhancing the city’s quality of life by significantly expanding its green spaces. The initiative includes the construction of numerous family entertainment parks within residential communities. It is aiming to elevate the standard of living for residents and visitors alike.

As part of this comprehensive plan, the Dubai Municipality is also working on the development of four-family squares. Two of them have already been completed in the Al Warqa 1 and 4 districts. Construction is currently underway for the remaining two in Al Nahda 1 and Hor Al Anz East, with completion expected in the near future. These squares and parks will serve as hubs for a wide range of entertainment and sports activities, catering to families and individuals of all ages.

In addition to enhancing the city’s recreational landscape, the Dubai Municipality is opening doors to investment opportunities within these spaces. Kiosks and other facilities will offer attractive prospects for private sector partners while providing exceptional experiences for park visitors.

Elevating the Standard of Living

Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, has revealed that between 2019 and 2021, approximately 70 facilities were constructed in residential areas. It has enhanced the lives of citizens. Looking ahead, the Municipality has ambitious plans to launch 55 additional family parks and squares in the coming months. The upcoming project marks with an estimated cost of Dh93 million. This reflects the Municipality’s unwavering commitment to building public parks and distinctive recreational facilities in the Emirates.

The addition of these 55 new parks is set to redefine Dubai’s urban landscape. It will be creating a city that not only boasts iconic skyscrapers but also values and nurtures its public spaces. The city takes another step towards a greener, more vibrant future.
