1. Sheikh Mohammed Awards Four Arab Hope Makers

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, recently awarded the four Arab Hope Makers finalists. They were given a financial reward of AED1 million each during the fourth season of the largest initiative of its kind Arab world.

2. Sheikha Latifa Attends Closing Ceremony Of Dubai Duty Free Championship

Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed Al Maktoum recently attended the closing ceremony of the 24th Dubai Duty Free championship. This competition saw the participation of over a hundred of the world’s elite female tennis players. Sheikha Latifa was seen congratulating the champion, Jasmine Paolini, and all other participating players.

3. Etihad Airways Adds 3 787-9 Dreamliners

Etihad Airways recently took to its official account on X to announce that it has now added three new 787-9 Dreamliners. In case you aren’t aware, these Dreamliners have a range of 13,620 km and are fuel efficient. Not to mention, they offer a comfortable and spacious cabin environment with a two-class aircraft feature. Additionally, there are 32 business suits and 271 seats in the economy of this aircraft.

4. Dubai Municipality Is Prepared For Fluctuating Weather

As it is predicted that the week might have turbulent weather conditions with rains expected to make a return in the Emirate, Dubai Municipality has reassured people. Yes, taking to X (formerly Twitter) they mentioned in a post that they are ready. Yes, it mentioned that their teams are prepared to deal with the weather fluctuation in Dubai around the clock! For this, they can receive a report either via WhatsApp or through the number 800900. Emergencies can also be reported via the Dubai Municipality’s App 24*7.

5. Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge Returns

The third Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge is currently taking place in Abu Dhabi till March 2. Organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Emirates Motorsport Organisation, this is a leading motorsport racing. As it happens, over 150 competitors have taken part in the challenge and this is happening in Al Dhafra region. In fact, Tobias Ebster has also taken part along with other renowned names.

6. Iconic Landmarks In Dubai Light Up In Kuwait Flag

Kuwait celebrated its National Day on February 25. As a result, several landmarks in Abu Dhabi lit up to celebrate the momentous day. Yes, several buildings in the city lit up in the colours of the Kuwaiti flag to celebrate the important day!
