Riyadh Season is massively popular with people. And the current edition has seen a record number of 18 million visitors so far. And now, a new and exciting event has been added to the list of programs that begins today. We are talking about SnowBlast KSA Cup, which is the first competitive snow skiing show in the kingdom and it’s going to be running till February 29. Here’s all about it!

SnowBlast KSA Cup Begins In Riyadh

This is a chance to get into the winter spirit as SnowBlast KSA Cup by the Riyadh Season is heading to Al Malqa. Bringing together 30 professionals from around the world, this is the first competitive snow skiing in Saudi Arabia. It will include skiing and snowboarding stars and athletes, who will compete in the event to show off their skills. These athletes have previously competed in the Olympics, National Heroes, and X Games, so you can certainly expect to see some thrilling stunts.

What Does The Event Entail?

Taking over the capital, this global event is going to be a spectacular winter sports competition. So, as the legendary sports medallists zoom down the 150 m slopes with a height of 30 m and width of about 20 m, they will perform tricks that are surely going to leave spectators awe-struck. As it happens, each of these contestants will be performing three jumps and the scores from their best attempts will be delivered by an international panel of judges. As it happens, the points will be displayed on large screens in both English and Arabic.

It’s worth mentioning that the guest appearance will be Tanner Hall, who is regarded as the greatest round of our times. So, if this event sounds like something you would want to attend, then you can book tickets online. They start for SAR20, which is a family fun day and family fun day and freestyle cup tickets start for SAR40. It should be noted that the SnowBlast KSA Cup begins at 4 PM every day.
