If you aren’t already aware, Antonia Restaurant is known for its variety of mouthwatering pizzas that are enough to transport foodies across the globe to the streets of Italy with just a single bite. And now, they are opening a new branch in Al Zeina! While they already have a branch in Mamsha Al Saadiyat, this restaurant is supposed to be opening their new branch in September which is next month. This news was announced on their official Instagram account, wherein they posted a Reel mentioning the new location of the branch as well as the opening month. While the construction of the new restaurants is still underway, the people in this locality or certainly waiting with bated breath for this Italian establishment to open its doors.

In case you are still unaware, this is a famous eatery, which was founded by Chef Simone Federici, who was the head chef of Mare Meat at Jumeirah, Saadiyat Island. The reason why this Roman-style square pizza has garnered, quite a lot of popularity is due to its sourdough base. A recipe by his nonna (grandmother), this recipe is more than 50 years old!
As it happens, the menu is filled with sumptuous options, such as Margherita, Focaccia al Rosmarino, and Diavola pizzas. As it happens, they also offer tempting seafood starters like Carpaccio di Branzino and saucy pasta like Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese. So, once you’ve eaten to your heart’s content, don’t forget to gorge on their range of delectable desserts, which includes Tiramisu and Bombolone.
