The one thing Indians are crazy about is cricket. Whether it is an ODI match or the World Cup game, Indians do not miss a single cricket match. This year, the World Cup games are going to take place in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium! And if you haven’t booked your stay yet, we have got you covered with options for accommodation.
World Cup Games To Be Scheduled In Ahmedabad
The finals and India vs. Pakistan games are scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad on October 15 and November 19. Ahmedabad’s hotel rates have skyrocketed since the announcement on June 27, and several upscale hotels are completely booked. The majority of five-star hotels are full. They include Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad, ITC Narmada, Hyatt Ahmedabad, Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad, Taj Skyline, DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad, Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad, Radisson Blu Hotel and so on.
A few four-star hotels and Airbnbs do, however, still have available rooms. If you still want to watch the game at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, follow these instructions. Hotels like Novotel, Lemon Tree Hotel, and Wyndham Ahmedabad Shela are among the hotels where you can find accommodation.
What To Do If You Can’t Find Accommodation?
Even if all the luxury hotels are booked, you can still locate a place to stay that is cosy. Airbnbs are an excellent substitute between October 15 and November 19. Their website states that there are still several villas and homes being hosted by “super hosts”.
You can also try booking your stay in a nearby city like Vadodara which is a two-hour drive away from the stadium. Within a four-hour drive of the stadium are the cities of Udaipur, Surat, and Rajkot, where it is simple to find lodging.
Travel agents are cashing in on Ahmedabad’s booming tourism industry. If you speak with travel companies, many hotels that appear to be fully booked can still have some rooms available.
So, are you excited for the World Cup matches? Be sure to make your bookings now before everything is full!
