The 10-Course Farm-To-Table Meal Celebrates Karnataka Flavours
The 10-course farm-to-table meal doesn’t have a set menu. Instead, the seasonal changing menu brings plenty of surprises and strengthens our connections with our roots. It might also start conversations about what foods mean to us, and how can we respect produce, nurture the Earth instead of exploiting it for food. FarmLore celebrates the cuisines of Karnataka while giving its a modern twist. ‘Gulabi’, a dish with rose leather, Mandya bun and melon seeds will transport you to the streets of VV Puram famous for its mouthwatering street food. ‘Hittu’, a cult classic of Ragi Mudde, Saru and Moringa Shoyu takes you to the alleys of nourishing Naati style food.
‘Nippet’, Karnataka’s favourite tea time snack has got a contemporary twist with Methyl cellulose Burger, crisps and egg plant. It looks like a mini burger and will leave you fascinated. “Nerale”, a Jamoon, Teja Jelly and Sanikatta salt dessert will tantalise your tastebuds with a sweet-fruity flavour. Stay attune for their freshly made ice creams, where the milk is sourced from their Hallikar cows at their natural farm. The milk from these cows has higher fat content which is perfect to prepare butter and ice creams at FarmLore.
