During this year’s FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, supporters may raise a glass to toast the goals and triumphs of their preferred teams. Despite the country’s tight prohibitions on alcohol, Qatar has chosen to permit beer sales throughout the event. There will still be restrictions on alcohol sales during the main event. Alcohol Will Get Served In FIFA World Cup With Few Regulations

According to a Reuters story, ticketed spectators can purchase alcohol at the competition three hours before kickoff and one hour after the end of regulation. In Qatar, beer will be available outside the stadiums’ ticketed enclosures, but authorities will distribute no alcoholic beverages within the stands.

As the first Muslim country to host the World Cup, Qatar is likely to provide significant difficulties for the organisers when it comes to providing alcohol to international fans who will be travelling to the country to watch the event. One of the primary sponsors of the World Cup in Qatar is the beer company Budweiser; this year, it will have an exclusive licence to sell beer there. 

During games and at other fan locations, Budweiser will serve its non-alcoholic beer. Budweiser Zero, throughout the concourses and stands of the stadium.

Alcohol Will Also Be Available At The Fan Club in Doha 

Beer will offer in the FIFA fan zone in Doha in addition to being serve outside the stadium’s ticketing border. During the 29-day event, beer will also available for purchase in the fan zone. You can buy from 6:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. every day, according to Reuters.

Qatar is not the first FIFA World Cup host country to relax its alcohol policy; in 2014, Brazil’s legislature passed a particular measure to permit beer sales at stadiums.
