Moreover, accidents have happened due to firecrackers! After reporting hundreds of incidents, another one has taken place on Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Intercity Express.
Fire Explosion On Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Intercity Express
There was a sudden massive explosion in the Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Intercity Express parked on the outer side near Samastipur railway station. Due to this explosion, there was chaos on the train. Two persons were reported hurt in the explosion that occurred in the train’s general section. It is stated that the two injured individuals are a mother and a son. The injured woman has been admitted to the railway hospital for treatment.
Following this mishap, RPF intervened and seized two individuals. Also, further investigation is going on in the matter. It is being said that a person was carrying firecrackers in a cloth bag. There is a possibility of a blast due to the rising smoke. However, RPF and GRP officials are currently refraining from saying anything in this matter.
Divisional Security Commissioner GS Jani said that the matter is being investigated that possibly the passengers were carrying firecrackers in the train. This isn’t the first fire accident caused due to firecrackers.

1. Bursting Firecrackers In Theatre
Social media was flooded with videos on Sunday showing fans enjoying the debut of Tiger 3. But the festivities quickly took a bad turn when some supporters let off pyrotechnics inside a theatre. While Tiger 3 was playing on the big screen, some people could be seen popping crackers in the footage, while others were frantically trying to get out of the theatre. Videos of Salman Khan supporters detonating rockets and popping firecrackers inside movie theatres have also been circulated. He had previously criticised the behaviour and urged his fans not to replicate it on social media.
2. Mathura Market Fire
A huge fire broke out in the neighbourhood firecracker market at Gopal Bagh in the Raya Kotwali region in a startling incident. More than twenty stores that were decorated for the Diwali celebrations were destroyed by the fire. Eight motorcycles were also consumed by fire and reduced to ashes. It is estimated that the incident caused burn injuries to about 15 persons, four of whom are critically injured.
3. Firecrackers Burst In Thiruvananthapuram
A fire broke out inside a firecracker business built up for Diwali in Karamana, destroying three shops. Around 7:30 PM on Saturday, a fire broke out in a store called Chandrika store. Two more bikes caught fire in front of the shop. Nobody suffered any major injuries. In addition to the store selling firecrackers, the fire also destroyed a supermarket and stationery store. Thamalam native Radhakrishnan Nair is the owner of all three stores. The sum of ₹1.5 lakh that was obtained from the sale of these shoes was also incinerated.
The value of the lost products alone would be ₹50 lakh.
