Vietjet, Vietnam’s leading low-cost airline, is expanding its presence in India with a new route from Ahmedabad to Da Nang. This new service is set to commence in October 2024. The announcement came during the Vietnam-India Business Forum held in New Delhi. At the same event, Vietjet celebrated a significant milestone: serving 200 million passengers.
Fly From Ahmedabad To Da Nang With Vietjet’s New Route
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and representatives from both countries’ business communities praised Vietjet’s achievement. The airline recognised its 200 millionth passenger, Mr. Sandeep Mehta, an Indian businessman. As a reward, Mehta was gifted a year of free international flights on Vietjet.
In honour of this milestone, Vietjet is rolling out a special promotion. From August 2 to August 8, 2024, the airline is offering 2 million tickets starting at ₹5,555. This offer is valid for both domestic and international routes. Tickets can be booked via the Vietjet Air website or mobile app. The travel period for these discounted tickets spans from September 4, 2024, to May 22, 2025.

Vietjet promises a high-quality travel experience. Passengers can enjoy modern aircraft and a dedicated cabin crew known for their friendliness and professionalism. Since its entry into the India-Vietnam market in 2019, Vietjet has been a pioneer in establishing direct flights between the two countries. The airline currently operates seven routes with 56 weekly flights. It connects major Indian cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Kochi with Vietnam’s key destinations, including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Vietjet also serves popular spots like Bodh Gaya and Varanasi. To date, the airline has transported nearly 1.3 million passengers between Vietnam and India.
