Tour Options
The balloon ride lasts for one hour and comes in different packages ranging from a basic one without breakfast to customized ones which include breakfast, branding, desert safari and more. The basic balloon ride costs AED 609 and does not include breakfast and transfers. The regular ride (AED 679) offers pick up and breakfast snack post landing. The standard ride priced at AED 1049 includes shared transfers and post landing breakfast.

Age Limit
The experience is eligible only for those between 5 years- 70 years of age. Less than 5 years and more than 70 years will not be permitted. Also, passengers will require to sign a declaration form declaring that he/she does not have any serious medical problems such as – Heart problem, knee or back bone surgery in last 6 months, phobia of height, Pregnant, physical and mental disabilities. All passengers are also required to submit their passport copy, Emirates ID or any Government issued ID prior to the flight, for security reasons.
When Can You Go?
Most of the balloon rides begin quite early in the morning. The balloon rides are open from September to May, due to Dubai’s unpredictable weather. However, winters are considered ideal for ballooning as they offer crystal clear views of desert dunes, sun rise, mountains on the south east and the skyline of Dubai on the north – west side.
Cancellation And Reschedules
In case of bad weather conditions, your flight will automatically get pushed to the next available day. You can also validate the ticket for the next one year, so you don’t miss out on the jaw-dropping experience. In case you wish to cancel your flight, you will have to do so before 6:00 AM. As for the refund, if you cancel before 72 hrs of flight schedule time, you will given 100% Refund, within 48 hours to 72 hours- 75% refund, within 24 hours -48 hours- 50% refund and no refund in case of cancellation less than 24 hours.
What Else?
Rise early and head to the pick up location so you don’t miss out on anything. Also, reaching early will fetch you the best seats in the basket. Don’t forget to carry your wallet, a hat, sun glasses, water bottle, a pair of binoculars and a camera. Make sure you are dressed in comfortable clothing. Carry a jacket as it will be windy up there. That said, don’t end up layering yourself as you will also have to walk a bit once you land. Lastly, there is no hot air ballooning is summer due to the soaring temperatures. See you mid-air!
