Bangalore To Get 2nd Food Street In 3-4 Months

According to a report by Times Now, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has transformed a 500 m-long stretch— a dump yard— into a food street in Yelahanka. For this BBMP, has spent ₹3 crores to turn it into a street vending zone. At this food street, you can expect all kinds of desi food items. So, when will this new food street in Yelahanka open to the public? BBMP says three to four months! Now that’s not too long a wait, right?

Also, Sudhakar Reddy, the Yelahanka zone executive engineer revealed to TOI that this stretch was a dump yard. The heaps of waste on the stretch restricted people from walking in that area. But now things are about to change and how! You can expect to witness small shops and huts where street food vendors can sell delicious hot food. Customers will also have seating areas to enjoy their snacks in peace.
