Foodies, we all know the drill when there’s a party, gathering with friends or even mood for solo indulgence, we always end up ordering from different restaurants on food delivery apps. And now Zomato has just added a new feature on its app where ordering food from multiple restaurants has just got way easier. Let’s tell you how so your weekend plans are sorted!
Zomato Launches New App That Lets People Order From Multiple Restaurants At Same Time
According to an article by India Today, Zomato has launched a new feature where foodies with a click of a button can order from different restaurants at the same time. The food delivery aggregator has introduced this feature to expand its market share, especially in places and situations where food delivery has slowed down.
Taking inspiration from Phone Pe’s Pincode app, where customers can build carts across different categories simultaneously, Zomato has incorporated the same in their app. So, a Bangalorean like me can order pizzas from Brik Oven, ice cream from Corner House and filter coffee from Hatti Kaapi, all at the same time.

Furthermore, a report by Moneycontrol states that Zomato users can build up to 4 carts from 4 different restaurants and place orders from their preferred haunt. Once the order in one cart is placed, users can then return and continue placing orders from the remaining carts. This is similar to the Pincode app’s functionality in the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).
A Feature That Enhances Food Ordering Experience!
A Zomato spokesperson stated to Moneycontrol that the telos behind this innovation is to improve customer service. Multiple carts with back and forth across different menus can be created in no time. This enhanced food ordering experience could be something foodies have been waiting for quite some time. After all, foodies often leave no stop unturned to enjoy the signature dishes of iconic eateries.
