Gimbap is one Korean snack that needs no introduction. We thank all the K-dramas for introducing us to this snack. However, if you don’t know what Gimbap is, let’s tell you that it’s like sushi rolls and consists of various fillings. All the fillings are stuffed into the rice and wrapped in a sheet of dried seaweed. You can have them cut into pieces or a burrito as well. Mostly Gimbap’s are found in triangular shapes at convenience stores in Korea.

2. Hotteok

Hotteok is a popular street food in Korea, which again is a treat for people, who love sweets. It is small deep-fried pancakes filled with brown sugar syrup and served piping hot. Stalls across Korea, also add their variation to the classic dish by including chocolate and fruits as the filling. Busan is a hub for Hotteok and also serves one-of-its-kind of Hotteok.
