3. Tawang Monastery, Arunachal Pradesh

The facts about this Buddhist monastery are endless! One of the foremost things is that it is the largest monastery in India and next, it is located so close to the border of China and Bhutan. In Tibetan, it is also known as Gaden Namgyal Lhatse and it means the divine paradise of complete victory. It is connected with Vajrayana Buddhism with Drepung Monastery of Lhasa and meditating here is a divine experience.

4. Shedup Choepelling Temple, Mussoorie

This popular tourist location is set up by the Buddhist residing population of Mussoorie. It is also known as the Tibetan Buddhist temple. The pretty architecture is also a major reason for attracting tourists. However, peace and calmness engulf you as soon as you sit to meditate and align your body with your conscious living. It is also a place where Dalai Lama took refuge after escaping from Tibet, hence it makes this spot another remarkable place to visit in India with beautiful views.
