From October 29 of this year, Indigo Airlines will begin daily direct flights between Ahmedabad and Jaisalmer. On this trip, Indigo will fly a 78-seater aircraft. There isn’t a direct flight operating on this route right now from any operator.

During the Diwali holiday and the rest of the winter, the new flight service to this top tourist location in Rajasthan will increase visitor activity. The direct flight service will shorten the distance travelled and reduce the cost of travel on this route. At 2.25 pm, the plane will take off from Ahmedabad’s SVPI airport and land at 4.45 pm in Jaisalmer. At 5.05 pm, it will depart from Jaisalmer and arrive in Ahmedabad at 7 pm.

From the same date, Indigo Airlines will begin daily direct flights between Ahmedabad and Agra. On this trip, Indigo will fly a 78-seater aircraft. Up until the beginning of the current year, Indigo ran along this path. Now that service has been reinstated on this route. There isn’t a direct flight operating on this route right now from any operator.

The reduction in travel time and one-way pricing on this route from around Rs. 8,000 to roughly ₹3,500 will result from the direct flight service. The flight to Agra will depart from Ahmedabad’s SVPI airport at 10:40 am and arrive in Agra at 12:35pm. Around 3.25 pm, the flight will depart from Agra and arrive in Ahmedabad around 5.30 pm.

The airline recently introduced a distance-based “fuel charge” on international and domestic flights. The fuel tax would range from 300 to 1,000 per sector, said the business. The recent substantial increase in the price of jet fuel prompted this choice.

According to IndiGo, a significant amount of an airline’s operating costs are related to ATF (aviation turbine fuel), prompting a rate modification to reflect the cost increase.
