This is a part of Markha Trail and this route lies in the first section of this Valley trail. Through this section, you can explore some of the deeper portions of the Hemis National Park and Markha Valley. You might come across snow leopards, different species of birds, desert-like terrains, a few oases of shrubs and more.

This trek in Ladakh starts from the Leh Khardungla Road till Saboo. The path is extremely rocky terrain and the altitude gradually increases. Nonetheless, the pristine views this trail offers compensate for the difficulty level. Keep in mind, that it is strongly recommended to acclimatize before this adventure for safety reasons.

This is the longest camping trail in Hemis National Park! The word ‘chadar’ means blanket or sheet in Ladakhi language.
