All the preparations to welcome Maa Durga and her entourage are going in full swing. Over a week before the 5 best days of the year, the puja pandals are getting inaugurated already. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated some pandals in the state virtually.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee Began Inaugurating Puja Pandals
Mamata Banerjee has started inaugurating the much-awaited pandals of the year and we are so ready to visit these places soon. She inaugurated 5 renowned Durga Puja pandals in North Kolkata, according to a report by The Telegraph India- My Kolkata. Along with these, she also inaugurated some famous pandals in different districts of West Bengal from her home in Kalighat on Thursday. She inaugurated almost 800 pandals from 23 districts, according to a report by Deccan Herald.
The Chief Minister usually inaugurates pandals by being present at those places every year. But this year, she chose to do so in a virtual setup as she suffered from a knee injury when she travelled to Spain. She added that she will be taking part in the grand Durga Puja carnival on October 27.

An Indian Express report states that Mamata Banerjee has further plans to inaugurate some more Durga Puja pandals in the next couple of days.
Which Pandals Are Open For Visitors Now?

Among the list of inaugurated Durga Puja pandals, some are Ahiritolla Sarbojonin, Hathibagan Sarbojonin, Sreebhumi Sporting Club, Tala Prottoy, and Entally Matribhumi. Not just in Kolkata, the famous Luminous Club in Kalyani ITI has also opened its doors to welcome visitors to witness the glory of their Grand Lisboa-themed pandal and idols.
The atmosphere looks so pujo-pujo in the state right now. With the last-minute preparations in the pandals and the shopping rush at markets, the puja fever is clearly on and we are rejoicing every moment. And now there are more reasons to celebrate and enjoy before Durga Puja starts in less than a week as the Chief Minister started inaugurating pandals.
