Some of India’s most popular and beautiful travel destinations are just a few hours away from Delhi. Close to so many locations, these places are currently seeing a massive rise in travel demands. The queries for flight tickets, accommodation facilities, and bookings are witnessing a spike as more and more people are getting interested in enjoying short getaways during the G20 Summit weekend, according to a report by The Hindi BusinessLine.

Well, not just domestic cities close to the national capital, there is a significant demand for touristy cities in different parts of India and even short-haul overseas countries as well. Booking.com noticed a rise in users looking for stays in Agra, Amritsar, Jaipur, Udaipur, and Varanasi. There are high chances for the demand to see a spike even more in the next few days.

Some places that people are searching the most are Agra, Amritsar, Jaipur, Manesar, Sawai Madhopur, Udaipur, and Vrindavan. Other travel destinations that are about to see a major tourist footfall during the G20 summit weekend are Corbett National Park, Port Blair, Chandigarh, Goa, Rishikesh, and Kochi.

Several travel companies are noticing an increase in flight ticket prices and hotel bookings with the demand skyrocketing.

Security is the biggest priority and security checkpoints are going to be installed at different points. The concerned authorities advised people to stay updated about their flight status before leaving houses, according to a report by News 18. All these developments for the G20 summit can turn out to be delaying the journey towards the airport. So take some extra time in hand on your way to the airport.
