Ganpati Visarjan is all set to take place tomorrow, September 25, 2026, on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. It’s the day when we bid goodbye to Lord Ganesha and request him to come back next year to bless our homes and lives. On this occasion, Mumbai Metro Line 3 or the Aqua Line, which runs between Aarey JVLR and Cuffe Parade, has made a special announcement on its official X account.
The Mumbai Metro Line 3 services will operate throughout the night for Ganpati Visarjan. Devotees heading to bid farewell to Ganpati Bappa will be able to take advantage of this special service. This means that they won’t have to worry about hailing a cab back home or looking for auto rickshaws.

The arrangement is expected to provide an additional transport option as immersion processions across several locations continue into the early morning of the next day. According to The Free Press Journal, the immersion processions traditionally continue late into the night and early morning as major pandals take their idols for visarjan.
