Get Ready To Pay More For Maggi, Tea & Coffee As Nestle & HUL Hike Prices

Uh oh! We have some bad news for all Maggi lovers in town. Your favourite snack, late-night binge, Maggi is going to become more expensive as Nestle India and Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) hike prices. Post a surge in prices of most consumer products across many categories, Maggi, tea and coffee will witness rise in prices. Read on to know all the deets.

Maggi To Get Costlier By 16 Percent

According to a report by CNBC TV-18, Nestle India will hike the price of everyone’s favourite Maggi noodles from 9 to 16 per cent. So, this change in price would mean that Maggi Masala noodles 70 gm will now cost ₹14 instead of the earlier ₹12. A packet of Maggi Masala Noodles 140 gm shall cost ₹3 higher. And the 560g packet will cost ₹105 instead of the earlier ₹96. So, this would mean costlier Maggi noodles at home, and even at your favourite eateries and street food joints.

Nestle India Hikes Prices Of Tea, Coffee & Milk

Well, the news gets worse as it’s not just Maggi. Nestle India has also hiked the prices for its milk, tea and coffee powder. The hike in prices comes as a result of the release of the new retail inflation for February 2022. Soaring inflation has also led to a rise in the overall household budget. So you can expect rise in prices of Nescafe coffee powder, Taj Mahal tea and Nestle A+milk 1 litre carton.
