It’s been just days since the announcement of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 finale race dates. And now the race day concerts have also been announced. Yes, this year The Chainsmokers and The Script will be performing separate sets at Etihad Live. Yes, the performances are scheduled on December 6th, and here’s all you need to know about the massive after-race concert series that was just announced.
The Chainsmokers & The Script To Perform At Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026
Joining Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson, who will be performing on December 3rd, and Imagine Dragons on December 5th, The Chainsmokers and The Script will be performing separate sets on December 6th. This will be taking place at Etihad Live, which will bring a conclusion to the four-night after-race concert series.
This announcement comes after the dates for the race had been revealed. In fact, access to the concert is exclusive to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders.
Who Are These Headliners?
The Script has just released their eighth studio record, ‘The User’s Guide to Being Human,’ which was released this month. And the most recent concert in the UAE happened at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre in 2025. This was also the first performance in the country since the death of the guitarist and founding member Mark Sheehan back in 2023.
The Chainsmokers, on the other hand, also released new music this year. The duo, who rose to prominence with #Selfie in 2014 and ended up with a string of hits, like Roses, Closer with Halsey, and Something Just Like This with Coldplay, have also previously performed in the UAE. The last performance was at White Beach at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai in 2022.
So with Abu Dhabi Grand Prix dates out and headliners also revealed, make sure to get your hands on the tickets. After all, the previous event attracted a record 3,39,000 fans across four days. In fact, 1,36,000 concert goals were also recorded across the after-race performances
