1. Parvati Valley, Himachal Pradesh
Breathe in the fresh mountain air at the hippie central of the country and peace out. The valley includes some of the more popular destinations like Tosh, Kasol and Kheerganga, perfect for a trip with the gang. You could even go for one of the many treks organised in the area and check out the ‘green grass’ that’s spread across the place
2. Naukuchiatal, Uttarakhand
Naukuchital or ‘the lake of nine corners’ in Nainital is another one. A good time to visit this hill station is May when the Escape Festival of Art and Music takes place but it remains beautiful all year round. So do take a few days out of your busy schedule and head to Naukuchiatal.
3. Gokarna, Karnataka
Not in the mood for the mountains? Head to Gokarna and peace out with a couple of friends on the beaches of this sleepy town.
