Kunafa is a small cafe located in Meherchand Market of Delhi’s Lodhi Colony that serves authentic Turkish sweets and coffee. From rich baklavas, to kanafeh pastries and some really exotic specialties. They have it all. The place was opened by Naser Barakat in 2012 and it soon became a go-to spot for those craving for authentic Turkish delights.

The menu doesn’t stop at desserts only. They also offer a wide range of mezzes platters, fresh salads, grills and tagine: which is a Maghrebi dish, named after the earthenware pot that it is cooked in.

FLAVOUR! The ingredients, the preparation, and the flavour of the dishes offered are so authentic that it will transport you to the busy lanes of a Turkish souk. Pair that with the traditional Turkish coffee and you have yourself the perfect winter dessert.

Here, you can find yourself a suitable date as well. Not just one, but by the dozen! Kunafa serves a wide variety of rich and stuffed dates that taste heavenly with each bite. Palestinian Jericho Dates, Stuffed Khirdi Dates, Saudi Kholas Dates, they have it all. For those who like figs, they have a complete shelf that offers Turkish, Sugar-Coated and Stuffed Figs.
