Turkey Recorded 56% Growth In Indian Tourists

We Indians love to travel. But where do we like to travel? This question was recently answered by the Turkish Tourism Board, which recorded a whopping 56% increase in the number of Indian tourist arrivals as compared to the same period last year, welcoming 1,30,000 Indian visitors.

With this positive growth and interesting data coming from the ministry, Turkey Tourism Board is in full gusto to host about 250,000 Indian tourists by the end of 2019. You will be surprised to know that within the months of January to July this year, around 14 million foreign tourists visited Turkey. Turkey has seen a 14.10% increase in foreign tourists during this period as compared to last year and has risen to be a popular international destination.

The picturesque landscapes of Turkey, its beautiful mosques and iconic natural sauna or thermal pool has made this a go-to destination for Indian weddings and MICE summits. Turkey Tourism Board also announced that by the end of this year, Turkey will be expected to host about 30 Indian weddings and 30,000 MICE visitors.
