The temperature is only increasing every summer season with the rapid rise in heat waves and intolerable scorching heat. All of us are aware of the connection between the heat surge and global warming. Unfortunately, the world is no more experiencing global warming but it is the beginning of global boiling. Recently United Nations stunned the world with some shocking revelations.

António Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations recently declared that the era of global warming is over now. Instead, the era of global boiling has started and it is going to be more scary and terrifying. The statement has certainly started a panic among many. Climate scientists confirmed how the ongoing month of July is currently on track to become the hottest month ever.

The UN Secretary-General also talked about how there are chances to control the global temperature and stop it from increasing to 1.5°C with immediate actions.

Why Is July Set To Be Considered As The Hottest Month On Record?

2023 just witnessed the hottest month of human existence and it happened too consecutively. First, June was marked as the hottest month ever. The record soon got changed to July after the first three weeks of this ongoing month experienced some shocking temperatures.

Recently, United Nations World Meteorological Organization and European Union’s Copernicus Climate Change Service stated in a press release that July is going to be the hottest month ever. As of now, 6 July is the hottest day ever on record with the daily average global mean surface air temperature exceeding all the previous numbers, according to a report by Scroll.

July is seeing the worst of the summer season. In the first and third weeks, the mean temperature surpassed all the other average temperatures recorded before. In fact, many climate scientists stated how Earth is experiencing the highest temperatures to this extent for the first time in more than 1,20,000 years.

Global boiling, such shocking and rapid changes, and unprecedented heatwaves are the biggest signs of the urgency to extensively work and put immense efforts to decrease harmful emissions and build a healthier planet.
