1. Loya Qissa X El Lequio 

This August, Loya at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, is hosting the latest edition of its special Qissa series. The spotlight is on a collaboration with El Lequio from Okinawa, Japan, a bar famous across Asia and ranked among the top 80 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023. Leading the night is Satoshi Sugiura, one of Japan’s most creative mixologists. On August 20th, guests will enjoy a one-night-only menu of cocktails that are adventurous, exciting, and full of surprises.

2. Grand Hyatt Mumbai Presents La Fiera Italiana

On August 23rd and 24th, five celebrated chefs from across Italy will come together at Celini restaurant to create a menu that feels like a journey through the country. On August 23rd, there will be a six-course plated experience, with each dish representing a different region. Then on August 24th, the Grand Italian Col-Pranzo brunch will bring a feast of antipasti, live pasta and risotto stations, wood-fired pizzas, grilled meats and seafood, regional vegetarian dishes, and classic Italian desserts like tiramisu and cannoli.

3. Pass The Salt Turns One

Pass The Salt opened just a year ago and has become more than a neighbourhood spot. For their first anniversary (menu available until August 15th), they’ve created new sandwiches, pizzas, and desserts inspired by moments from the chef’s life, like The Picnic or Limone e Tartufo. Their Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas, like The Wild Shroom and The Firehouse bring indulgent layers of flavour, while desserts like Froot Loops Tres Leches and Coconut Panna Cotta add a fun, nostalgic touch.

4. Parsi New Year At Hornby’s Pavilion, ITC Grand Central, Mumbai

On August 15th, Hornby’s Pavilion at ITC Grand Central will celebrate Parsi New Year with a lunch and dinner menu. The menu is filled with classics like Chicken Farcha, Sali Boti, Patra Ni Macchi, and Ravo and Lagan Nu Custard. There will also be live stations making Keema and Akuri on the spot. Whether you’re Parsi or simply love great food, this food festival is the perfect way to enjoy Navroz this August.

5. World’s #1 Bar Paradiso At Late Checkout

For two nights only, Mumbai will host Paradiso, the world’s number one bar from Barcelona. Paradiso is famous for its secret entrance (hidden behind a pastrami shop), theatrical cocktails, and playful approach to mixology. Giacomo Giannoti, the mastermind behind their drinks, will be serving creations like Kriptonita and Great Gatsby.

6. Flavors Of The Middle East At Lotus Café JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu 

From August 16th to 24th, Lotus Café at JW Marriott Juhu will transform into a Middle Eastern paradise. Chef Rabih El Yantani from Al Bustan Palace in Oman brings over 30 years of experience to curate a menu full of classics, from Omani Shuwa lamb to Shish Taouk chicken skewers and Baba Ghanoush. There will be mixed grills, a seafood platter, fresh mezze like hummus and tabbouleh, and regional favourites like Mujadara. The food festival in August ends with a special Middle Eastern brunch on August 24th.

Chor Bizarre, the much-loved restaurant famous for its Kashmiri delicacies and quirky vintage décor, is dedicating an entire month to kabab and beer. The Kabab & Beer Festival lets you choose between two sampler platters, non-vegetarian or vegetarian, with unlimited refills. 10. Theatre Of Flavours At K3, JW Marriott Aerocity

K3 has redesigned their Sunday afternoons into something special. These brunches bring you alfresco seating, a live band playing, and a menu that travels from Delhi to Kashmir and beyond.
