But did you know there’s a famous coffee made using animal poop? It’s called Luwak Coffee and is made from civet poop. Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi’s younger son, Ayushmaan Sethi, recently tried it during his Bali vacation with girlfriend Samiksha Shetty and shared the experience.

Ayushmaan Sethi and Samiksha Shetty took to social media to share one of their experiences from their Bali trip. During their vacation, they tried the famous Luwak Coffee, which they also called “shit coffee.” Sharing the story behind it, Ayushmaan revealed that an animal called the Asian palm civet, also known as luwak, eats ripe coffee cherries and later passes out the beans.
These beans are then collected, cleaned, roasted and used to make coffee. When the couple tried this unique and world-famous coffee, they were pleasantly surprised. They found it really delicious and were so excited to make Parmeet Sethi try it too. If you love exploring unique coffees from around the world, this is definitely one to add to your bucket list.

How Did Parmeet Sethi React To This Coffee?
As the video continues, the couple brings a pack of Luwak Coffee for Parmeet Sethi to try. Samiksha reveals that Parmeet is very particular about hygiene, so they are excited to see his reaction. Before taking a sip, Parmeet smells the coffee and immediately likes its aroma. After tasting it, he is pleasantly surprised and says it is really good. He also adds that the coffee has both bitter and sweet notes.
Ayushmaan then reveals that the coffee is made using beans collected from civet poop. Hearing this, Parmeet jokingly says they should have told him only after he had finished the entire cup. Despite the surprising revelation, he admits that the coffee actually tastes really nice.
