The viral photo of the Northern Lights appearing in a heart shape in Norway was captured by photographer Kristoffer Vangen (@krisvang). The image shows the bright green Aurora Borealis forming a clear heart in the dark night sky. The heart shape stands out beautifully against the black background, making the moment look magical. Vangen shared the photo on his social media handle, and it quickly grabbed attention. It went viral and left netizens in awe of its beauty.

As per NDTV, Auroras form when charged particles from space enter Earth’s atmosphere and collide with gases like oxygen and nitrogen. These collisions transfer energy to the gas particles. When the gases release that energy, they produce light in the sky. This creates the Northern Lights. They most commonly appear green, but depending on the gas and altitude, they can also look blue, purple, pink, or red.
