The good news is that Mandwa will begin operations by November 1, 2022. The water taxi services will start with a Domestic Cruise Terminal, Princess Dock Jetty, to Mandwa in Mumbai. The prices will vary from ₹400 to ₹450 for the lower and upper decks. There will be six services, three from side to side. Read on to know what more is happening in the Mumbai jetty —

Domestic Cruise To Mandwa Water Taxi Cruise; Built In Goa

The domestic cruise to Mandwa was built in Goa and brought to Mumbai on October 12, 2022. The domestic cruise has been divided into general and business class, and the prices, as mentioned, will be determined accordingly. To ensure that the travelling is safe and there is caution, repeated trials have been done for the water taxi in Mumbai. As per reports, it is one of the initial water taxis in Mumbai to be equally high speed and double deck setup. The sailing speed of this Mandwa taxi is done will be done at 15 knots, although it has the potential to function up to 22 knots. The areas it will be cruising are between South Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

Rest assured, the water taxi service to Mandwa will be high speed, as it has the engine 2-750 HP Volvo Penta attached. Further, the cruise has been built with all the facilities and amenities required for visitors, with two washrooms on the upper and four restrooms on the lower deck. Further, the entire water taxi is air-conditioned. Therefore, you, as a traveller, are definitely up for a great and comfortable travel experience. Such water services in Mumbai began in February 2022. This is the first water transportation from the Domestic Cruise Terminal, with a seating capacity of 140 travellers on the lower deck and 60 on the upper/business deck.
