Good News! Sharjah’s Safeer Mall Will Open Again In 2026; To Be Rebranded As Mark & Save Mall

It wasn’t too long ago when we announced to you how Sharjah’s iconic Safeer Mall has now closed. The 19-year-old mall, which was built back in 2025 and as reported by Khaleej Times, it has now been acquired by the Western International Group. However, you won’t miss this for long, as it will open again in 2026 after extensive development! Here’s all about the redevelopment of the mall.

Safeer Mall To Undergo Major Renovation

As revealed in the same report by Khaleej Times, this iconic mall is going to reopen in 2026 after an extensive makeover. This is supposed to be completed in approximately 18 months, during which the management will ensure that the mall meets contemporary standards. Not to mention, it will also ensure that it is in compliance with the government regulations for which it is all set to undergo an extensive overhaul. In fact, there were nine shops that were still serving customers inside the mall. However, it was mentioned how the group is going to ensure to support its tenants during the transition and renovation.

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that the model will reopen as Mark & Save Mall. It will feature a significantly different and more contemporary design and the focus will be on the customer flow and experience. Not to mention, it will also host Sharjah’s largest indoor family play area, fully serviced gym, retail hypermarket, and several dining options. Boasting a complete transformation, the layout will be significantly different while keeping up with the changes in time.

As it happens, the small is situated on a hard road, which is a prime location. It is a highway between Dubai and Sharjah and sees a daily traffic that exceeds 1,00,000 vehicles. As it happens, the iconic mall was also regarded as a second home for the residents. A go-to spot for those in Sharjah, it was truly a geographical marker for expats and motorists.

So, as the new era for Safeer Mall begins, it seems that it will be a truly great experience for people once it reopens for the public.
