Now, in a heartwarming move, Gurudwara Takht Shri Hazoor Sahib in Nanded, Maharashtra has announced to release all its gold collected over 50 years to construct hospitals and medical institutions. Gurudwara Takht Shri Hazoor Sahib In Maharashtra To Donate Gold To Build Hospitals

Gurudwara Takht Shri Hazoor Sahib is one of the five takhts of Sikhism. This revered gurdwara has announced to tap into its gold reserves collected over five decades to build medical infrastructure. The gurdwara authorities revealed that hospitals and medical institutions will be built in Nanded, so people wouldn’t have to travel to Mumbai or Hyderabad for treatment.  Takht Jathedar Sant Baba Kulwant Singh tweeted, “Takht Hazoor Sahib, Nanded, in Maharashtra – One of the Five Takhts of SIKHISM, is releasing all the Gold collected over the last 50 years – to build Hospitals & Medical Colleges Aim – Nobody should have to travel to Hyderabad OR Bombay for Medical studies or Treatment !!!”

This Gurudwara Will Also Build Medical Colleges

He also revealed that the organisation which earlier put a lot of gold in buildings and gurudwaras, will not construct Gursikhs. These school shall provide good education enabling Gursikhs to hold high positions. Medical colleges and hospitals will be built using the gold collected by the gurudwara over the past 50 years. This gurdwara in Maharashtra is indeed setting a fantastic example of selfless service for other religious organisations and places of worship to follow.
