Abu Dhabi’s Hindu Temple To Provide 440mt Of Oxygen To India

Abu Dhabi’s BAPS Hindu Mandir is working to create a supply chain of oxygen tanks and cylinders to provide more than 400 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen every month to India from this week. The first batch of supplies includes 44 mt of liquid oxygen, 30,000 litres of medical oxygen gas in 600 cylinders, and 130 oxygen concentrators, said Pujya Swami Brahmaviharidas, a spiritual leader of BAPS Hindu Mandir.

The relief work by the BAPS Hindu Mandir is in line with the UAE’s wise and visionary leadership and with the support of members of the Indian community in the Arabian country. The oxygen will be provided through the government and the temple’s network of Covid-19 hospitals.

The temple’s sages and volunteers have joined community members in creating a dedicated supply chain of support and services. In terms of logistics, the initiative is being supported by Transworld Group via air and sea.
