Monday morning began horrifyingly in the Panchkula district in Haryana as a bus carrying passengers overturned and met a tragic accident. More than 40 students were travelling on that bus that turned sideways near the Naulta village. This incident near Pinjore injured many severely and they are undergoing treatment currently. Haryana Roadways Bus Overturned In Panchkula District

A witness revealed to NDTV that the vehicle was quite crowded with passengers. According to a report by NDTV, it was carrying around 70 schoolchildren. Unfortunately, more than 40 of those students sustained injuries after the suspected speeding bus overturned in Panchkula. Police quickly reached the accident spot on Monday morning. They guess it to be a result of speeding on the road.
Following the accident, injured passengers were rushed to Pinjore Hospital and Sector Civil Hospital. There was one woman passenger who is now at PGI Chandigarh. Unfortunately, she sustained severe injuries and had to be referred.
Police suspect that the bus overturned as the driver might have lost his control because of the bus running at a high speed. In fact, there are a few more concerns that may have triggered this life-threatening accident in Panchkula. According to multiple reports, it has been attributed to the bus being packed with commuters and the poor state of roads in the district.
