Haryana Waiter Dragged On Car Bonnet For 100 Metres

This unfortunate incident took place at The Posh Cafe and Club which is located in the Sector 20 of the Panchkula region in Haryana. According to an article recently published by India Today, a fight broke out between the club staff members and five youngsters who went to the club. They partied till four o’clock in the morning but things took a turn for the worst.

They received a bill for food and drinks for more than ₹23,000. This is where the scuffle began. Things escalated pretty quickly and the men in the group called up their friends who soon arrived carrying sticks and swords. The bouncers of the club, too, got involved. Things really got nasty when the group attempted to escape from the scene in their car.

A waiter named Jayant, who was only 18 years old, attempted to stop them but instead, he got hit by the car and was dragged for about 100 metres before the car left him behind on the ground. An article recently published by NDTV stated that both his hands were fractured in the incident and that he sustained many other major injuries.

Women, on the other hand, were brandishing swords. As per officials, the group refused to settle the bill of more than ₹23,000. That is when the fight broke out. This is not the first time that such an incident has taken place. A few months ago, a fight broke out in Noida’s Spectrum Mall when a family refused to pay the service charge at a restaurant.
