We all have had ailing relatives who travelled long distances in trains. While travelling in such a condition is risky, some people cannot help it as that is the only option for them. In such situations, travelling is always permeated by a thin layer of trepidation as things can go terribly wrong. One such instance was prevented by the efficiency of Indian Railways. A heart patient on the train received swift help. Here are the details about the incident.

Heart Patient On Train Tweets For Help

Recently, a heart patient was travelling in the KSR Bengaluru-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express. This train, which was headed to Delhi from Bengaluru in Karnataka was numbered 22691. The passenger’s name is Yuvraj Kore and he was carrying an emergency oxygen supply with him.

However, certain health issues were triggered during his travel and he was forced to use his emergency oxygen supply. But when the supply started running low, he tweeted to the railway officials for help.

He took to the microblogging website, tagged the Ministry of Railways of India and briefly informed them about his predicament. He even mentioned his seat number, which was A5 and three. This incident took place on the 27th of July, around 10:30 PM.

Railway Sends Help Within 10 Minutes

In a follow-up tweet, he said that help had reached him in time and that he was currently being treated in a hospital in the Mancherial district in Telangana. It was highlighted in a separate tweet that help had reached the ailing passenger in as little as 10 minutes!

The tweet said that an ambulance was readied at the Bellampally or BPM station within 10 short minutes and that the patient, too, was aboard it and was being treated. The efficiency of railway officials should be lauded as they may have saved a person’s life.

Many people took to the comments section to applaud this swiftness in response showcased by the Indian Railways. Many people wished the patient good health and congratulated how efficiently the matter was handled by the railway officials.
