Ever had ice cream in a roll? One of the lesser known ice cream spots in Dubai, Jam Rolled rolls ice cream, packs it with crazy toppings and serves it in a taco or a waffle. The concept originated from the streets of Thailand and Jam Rolled Arabia brought it right here in Dubai.

As for the menu, you can pick between fruit, and chocolate fillings for your roll. Fruit lovers can indulge in a range of rolls packed in with the fruity goodness of mangoes, bananas, berries, figs and more. Like a slight crunch to your ice cream? Try the Crunchy Coconut-choco flavour.

If you want to steer away from cliche chocolates and go natural, here’s one of the ice cream spots in Dubai that will satiate your craving. This on one serves true fruit (quite literally) in a cup. Flavours avaialble include chickoo, watermelon, sitafal, coconut, guava, and dates. The store also has some seasonal add ons so you are spoilt for choice once here. And the prices are nominal too. 3. Billo

A cozy outlet with a seating capacity of 6-8 people, flashy interiors and desi music to easy the atmosphere, Billo dishes out the best faloodas in town. A dessert made with flavoured milk (mostly rose), vermicelli, sweet basil, sabza seeds, jelly and scoops of ice cream, digging into a tall glass of falooda is every desi’s definition of a perfect dessert. And the best part- the faloodas on the menu have funky desi names, adding a dose of quirk.

Billo serves four types of faloodas: Kulfa Falooda, rose falooda, pista and Peshawari falooda. If you’re game for a heavy dessert try the Punjabi falooda. Topped with oodles of dry fruits, nuts and cream, this one’s a meal in itself. Faloodas aside Billo also serves Bun Kababs, chaats and milkshakes.

4. Baraf Ka Gola

Elco in Karama is known for lip-smacking South Indian, North Indian and Chinese delicacies, but we also found our summer BFF here! Once you’re here, we would say its perfectly okay to skip the main course and dive straight into the ice golas. Ice golas or ice lollies, as they are referred to, is made of crushed ice drenched in fruity toppings. Try the rose, or mango lollies if you like something fruity or opt for Kala Khatta if you like a mix of sweet and salt.
