The family of Ragnvald C Borch has put Hitler’s toilet seat up for auction. Borch took the toilet seat as a hilarious reminder of Hitler’s failed attempts to take over the world. Despite the leader’s residence being heavily destroyed, somethings remained intact, this toilet seat remained sturdy. According to the owners, the weird memorabilia has historic importance. Borch’s son, Michael revealed why his father wanted the toilet seat. He stated to news agencies, “According to the family legend when a fellow military police trooper asked him why he wanted the latter trophy, he responded: “Where do you think Hitler put his ass?”

The two-piece seat and lid apart remained on display in the basement of Borch’s home in New Jersey. To support the claims made by his family there are also wartime photos and newspaper clippings. The saleroom Alexander Auctions states that it’s a “one-of-a-kind piece.” The auction house states “One can scarcely imagine the plotting the tyrant undertook while contemplating the world from atop this perch!” Well, this relic has a piece of history that remains unflushed since ages.
