UAE has declared a holiday on Sunday 18 November for all public sector entities on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday.
What Is It?
The UAE Cabinet has officially announced that on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday, Sunday 18 November, will be a holiday for all ministries and federal entities. Work will resume on Monday 19 November. The original date stipulated by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department of the Government of Dubai was 20 November but the date swap means that everyone gets to enjoy a fun long weekend!
It is anticipated that December will have another long weekend! We can’t wait!
