Marine Aquarium & Regional Centre in Digha is also famous for its research on the marine flora and fauna of the surrounding places. It has 24 huge tanks and 8 small tanks that are home to a vast marine world, according to a report by Trawell. These tanks are built perfectly with all the required facilities that help marine life to flourish and nurture. From crabs to sea anemones to sharks, there is too much to witness here.

What makes this landmark so famous is that it is one of the Zoological Survey of India’s 16th regional centres. It has been running successfully in Digha for a long time now. The National Council of Science Museums built the research centre long back in 1989. Tourists visiting here get an exciting opportunity to get a step closer to the marine flora and fauna and learn many extraordinary facts about it.

The doors to Digha’s famous tourist attraction, Marine Aquarium & Regional Centre open at 10 AM. Visitors can explore the entire place till 6 PM. Except for Tuesdays, it is operational every day of the week. Make sure you do not try to click pictures or videos inside as photography is prohibited here. Also, you do not need to pay anything to buy tickets to enter here as the entry fee is free.

There are surely loads of new things to see and experiences to enjoy at this beautiful location. It brings the perfect opportunity where you can explore and learn new things about the wonders of marine life at the same time. A maximum of 2 hours is enough to check out this establishment and get to know about the fascinating information and hidden gems.
