What we love the most about Chef Mohsin Qureshi’s recipes is the simple cooking procedures. Be it preparing a rich and creamy dessert or a delicious non-vegetarian delicacy, we love his creations for uniqueness. When it comes to classic Awadhi cuisine, no one creates flavoursome recipes like the chef.
His mutton recipes are a major highlight and recently, he shared an elaborate reel explaining the process of cooking Aloo Gobhi Gosht at home. What about making this appetising mutton dish this Sunday?
Here’s The Recipe For This Delectable Mutton Preparation
Ingredients:
- 200 ml mustard oil
- 250 g onion slices
- 50 g ginger garlic paste
- 1 kg mutton
- 1 bay leaf
- 8 green cardamoms
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 mace flowers
- 2 big cardamoms
- 4 cloves
- 2 spoons turmeric powder
- 2 spoons red chilli powder
- 4 spoons coriander powder
- Salt
- 3 cup water
- 500 g potato
- 500 g cauliflower
- 10 g curry leaves
- 250 g tomato
- 10 green chillies

Recipe:
- Heat oil in a kadhai and fry onion slices until golden brown.
- Next, add ginger garlic paste and cook for some time.
- Add mutton pieces to the sauteed mixture and cook.
- Next, add bay leaf, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, mace flowers, big cardamom, cloves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt. Combine gently and cook on a low flame.
- Add water, cover with a lid, and cook till the meat softens about 80 per cent.
- Open the lid and add potato, cauliflower, curry leaves, tomato, and green chillies.
- Cover the lid again and cook till all ingredients are cooked perfectly.
Packed with desi flavours, Aloo Gobhi Gosht is ready to serve hot!
