This time, he shared an elaborate video of preparing Murgh Shami Kabab. If you don’t like eating mutton and want to relish the real taste of delicacies of the streets of Lucknow, it’s high time you cook this scrumptious dish.
Here’s The Lip-Smacking Kabab Recipe
Ingredients:
- 250 gm chana dal
- 1 kg chicken
- 3 spn cumin
- 3 pieces of mace
- 5 pieces of big cardamom
- 8 pieces of clove
- 10 pieces of green cardamom
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 spn black pepper
- 6 pieces of red chillies
- Salt
- 20 gm ginger
- 40 gm garlic
- 500 ml water
- 3 spn oil
- 150 gm chopped onion
- 1 spn chopped green chilli
- 3 spn chopped coriander leaves
- 1 spn kewra
- 1 spn khushbu masala
- 1 spn potli masala
- Onion slices for stuffing
- Ghee
Follow these steps:
- Add soaked chana dal, water, and chicken to a kadhai.
- To it, add cumin, mace, big cardamom, green cardamom, cinnamon sticks, clove, black pepper, red chillies, salt, ginger, garlic, water, and oil.
- Cover with a lid and cook till the dal and chicken soften. Continue cooking and stirring till the water gets absorbed completely.
- Spread the flavourful chana dal and chicken mixture on a plate and let it cool down. Blend it using a mixer grinder.
- Add chopped onion, chopped green chilli, chopped coriander leaves, kewra, khushbu masala, and potli masala to the ground chana dal-chicken and mix everything gently.
- Fry thin onion slices till they turn brown.
- Next, make small balls with chicken mixture, stuff them with fried onions, and give them desired shami kabab shapes.
- Add ghee to a pan and fry each kabab on a low flame.
- Serve mouth-watering Murgh Shami Kabab with green chutney and enjoy.
